About the application
Where2Sport maps the places where outdoor sports are actually practised and describes them the way practitioners do: what the spot demands technically and physically, how crowded it gets, how it is reached, and - for water spots - swell axis, orientation, beach, wave and tidal range.
The catalogue is community-driven. Users propose new spots and corrections with photographs; proposals go through a moderation workflow before they reach the public map. Coverage started with Brittany and the Pays de la Loire.
