City Cache
A photo hunt through a city, one place at a time
About the application
City Cache is a photo collection game. A theme holds a set of photographs taken across one territory; the player goes out, finds the place each one was shot from, and photographs it again. The backend checks where the player stands and what they shot, and the collection fills in.
There is no clock and no score. The only number that matters is how many pictures have been found, and a theme can be picked up and put down over any span of time.
One backend serves every city: a new place is a profile file plus its own store listing, with photographs and themes managed from a web studio. That is what makes a city launch a matter of content rather than of code.
